ACTUAL TOYS

Do you play with actual toys? 

There's a real entrepreneurial aspect to playing. Imagination gets unlocked through play. And imagination is what fuels inventiveness. A lot of silliness leads great places, in case you never knew that.

The other day I was going through my stash of cat toys (no current sweet kitty) and was planning on donating them when I realized that a lot of them make me really happy. Kitties mostly prefer string, lol. The artistry and humor that shows up in some of these designs takes me to a really good place. The expressions, cuteness, originality and color is a big deal.

So I put three favorites next to my bed and I say good morning and good night to them and it's lifting my spirits. Who knows what adventures lie in wait.

I shared these thoughts with Dream Clubber Stephanie Minich, who I'm thrilled to be working with redesigning her home office (my 100% dream project, I might add). She showed me the cutest ever alpaca toys that fit perfectly with her about-to-be-launched new yarn business (very exciting).
