SELFIE ATTEMPT IN COOL OUTFIT

I'm trying to figure out how to use my Sony A6000 to take better quality selfies, especially of cool outfits that are available on this website. It's not simple! The lighting looks totally different in the camera vs. naked eye. Strange objects appear that I didn't see -- huh? And why it's coming out blurry is beyond me. Can we pretend that was on purpose to be arty? But I'm learning!
