Fanciful and fun, these rugs make you feel good. They're art — handsome and chic enough for any posh place, while also eliciting smiles. Lushly textured and colored, the rugs pay homage to the brilliant creatures who inspire and love us every day.

Whether it's your current bestie or a beloved pet from your childhood or the past, this is such a great way to cherish them and love them always. Plus, it'll make you smile and feel warm and fuzzy every time you look at it. (The rug called Run Kitty is my own beloved Cassandra.) They might even inspire your own case of occasional zoomies!

The design may or may not include a full view of your fuzzy favorite. After you submit your art deposit, I'll ask you about their favorite places, their personality, their quirks. What do / did they love to do?

The artwork will embrace their silliness and their beauty. It's a great conversation piece and most importantly, it brings an extra dose of love into your living and working spaces.

First your artwork is created and approved. I'll request multiple photos of your pet, showing their full body and face. If we're incorporating or referencing a favorite toy or place, you share those images also. Then you pay your artwork deposit and I'll create your custom art, designed specifically to work well and look good as a rug. One round of revisions is included. More can be done for an additional fee.

Then your rug is put into production. First a sample is made so you can be sure you love the colors; you approve that and then the full-size rug is made. Your rug can be square, rectangular, circular or a runner shape, depending on your wishes and the artwork. 

Note that original art is copyrighted and rights remain with Colormaiden unless otherwise agreed to in writing. If you wish to use the art in any other context, contact me to discuss possible arrangements.

A sample of your custom pet rug design is required to ensure color accuracy.

An oversized sample (2' x 2' or 1' x 1' depending on the design) shows yarn colors and a section of the design before purchasing your full-sized rug. You can hold your sample up against your furnishings in your room. 

If you decide not to proceed with your full order after receiving your sample, the cost of your sample is nonrefundable, as samples are also made to order.

Artwork takes approximately two weeks after receiving all needed reference photos and depending on backlog.

Sample production is approximately four weeks. 

All rugs, including samples, are custom-made per order. Standard timing to manufacture your full rug is 12 weeks. Any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

You can request hanging loops if you'd like to use any design as a wall hanging. Include a note with your order or message me.

If you'd like to order a different size of this design, a new form can be created for you with related fee to create the art if it’s suitable for the design of your choice.

If you'd like a different colorway, that can also be created as a new custom order.

All Rugs are Made to Order

Rug orders are nonrefundable as they're custom-made just for you. Deposits are nonrefundable since orders begin processing with our mill as soon as placed.

Original artwork fees cannot be returned if you were to decide not to proceed with a design (this has never happened), as the work will have already been created and is tightly scheduled.

If there's a manufacturing defect, it will be examined and replaced.
